The Travelling Museum is a small educational service set up and run by Christina Bramble, a former museum education officer and curator. She says: " My professional and personal experience of museums and related travels to India inspired my firm belief that objects can tell us something about the people who make and use them, when examined with a curious mind." The Travelling Museum's collection consists of about 400 pictures, fabrics, statues and everyday objects from several parts of India and Nepal. Each object reflects something typical of the everyday culture and religious beliefs. |
